ESRs 1,2,5 and 14 of CNR at BRIGHT 2018, the European Researchers' Night event in Tuscany

The fascinating journey in the world of research with BRIGHT 2017, the European Researchers' Night event in Tuscany, was back on Friday, September 28th. Also this year the great festival dedicated to research brought its protagonists in the streets and squares of the historic center of all the cities involved, and opened the doors of the laboratories to citizens who can talk with researchers, appreciate their expertise and passion and know the positive impact that the results of their work have on quality of life.

In Pisa, the BRIGHT 2018 program includes a map of events that will follow the ideal path of a "knowledge subway" designed to link together universities and research studies promoting the initiative: University of Pisa, Scuola Normale Superiore, Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies, CNR, INGV and INFN.

For the 2018 Researchers' Night, the Institute of Informatics and Telematics (IIT CNR) proposed scientific activities, outdoor scientific banquets, school-work alternation activities and seminars. The detailed program of all the initiatives is available on the following websites:

NeCS ESRs Christina Michailidou (ESR1), Ganbayar Uuganbayar (ESR2), Oleksii Osliak (ESR5) and Athanasios Rizos (ESR14) participated in the event held in CNR (Pisa) where they had the ability to demonstrate their work over their research topics to a wider audience.
